This volume comprises 18 papers primarily drawn from the November 2000 conference, titled "Changes in Agricultural Trade under the U.S. and Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CUSTA)," held at North Dakota State University. Specific themes include changes in trade patterns, impacts in bilateral agricultural trade, recent evolution of the U.S. and Canadian marketing systems and prospects for further economic integration, and trade disputes and negotiations. The contributors are supportive of CUSTA and suggest further efforts to integrate the agricultural economies of the two countries. Both the conference and the book were financed by the U.S. Customs Service. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
