LAURA NIETO BRUÑA nació en David, Chiriquí, República de Panamá, en 1981.
En 1999, Laura terminó de escribir su primera novela infantil Aldo, el joven rey. Ese mismo año ganó la Mención Honorífica en el Concurso Inter-universitario Roberto Jaén y Jaén con su cuento El fantasma de la Cava del Marqués.
En 2004, se graduó de Licenciada en Mercadotecnia, con el tercer puesto de honor, en La Universidad Santa María la Antigua (USMA), sede de David.

LAURA NIETO BRUÑA was born in David, Chiriqui, Republic of Panama, in 1981.
In 1999, Laura completed her first children’s novel Aldo, el joven rey. During that same year, she won Honorable Mention in the Roberto Jaen y Jaen Inter-university Contest with her story El Fantasma de la Cava del Marqués.
In 2004, She graduated with 3rd place honors with a degree in Marketing from the University of Santa María la Antigua (USMA), David branch.
