Overview

This book teaches children of the uniqueness in everyone and to embrace differences in others. Children should feel proud of who they are and Alfie's Way will teach young minds to have empathy and compassion towards one and other.

Alfie Bear makes everyone cross by working in his shed instead of joining in. But, when disaster strikes, they find out he's a very special person indeed!

An action-packed, story-in-verse for young readers, with an important message for us all.

About the Author

Tanya Kharina was born in Russia in 1987 and moved to Manchester, England aged 15. She gained a Bachelor of Arts degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, creating many works surrounding fairy tales that sought to spark children's imagination.
Her earlier work ignited her passion in writing as she set about to write a children's book. Inspired by her own son, she endeavoured to raise awareness of autism. It is her hope that in doing so, it will help to break down the stigma.
