Overview

Archeologist Jules Templar discovers a 10,000-year-old map and the cryptic records of a Great King beneath the Temple of Baalbek in Lebanon. Jules deciphers them and realizes that they refer to an ancient artifact of immense power, the Zu-Astrum, hidden in a labyrinth beneath a remote Tibetan canyon. Jules secures sponsorship for an archeological expedition to Tibet. His team finds the entrance to the labyrinth, and as he and his feisty new love interest Ursula descend into its inky depths, they discover an unexpected artifact: a tiny disk containing the thought records and experiences of Gen-Ra, a princely initiate descended from the ancient royal bloodlines of a hybrid race of aliens. When Jules places the disk on his forehead, he experiences Gen-Ra's thoughts as if they were his own, revealing Gen-Ra's experience of the Great Ordeal in the labyrinth, the secrets of mankind's place in the galaxy, the truth about the Garden of Eden, the quest for the Tablets of Power, and much more. As Jules and Ursula gain deeper insights from the thought recorder, their journey becomes a race against time to find the Zu-Astrum before it's confiscated by the Chinese military.
