Michael C. Luckman is director of the New York Center for Extraterrestrial Research and the founder of the Cosmic Majority, an organization that seeks to represent the majority of people on earth who believe in UFOs, life on Mars, and the paranormal. Luckman taught the nation's first college course on rock music. He lives in New York City.

This "expos " of rock stars and their alien connections had the potential to be a fun romp for believers and skeptics alike, but UFO expert Luckman comes off too "tinfoil hat," basing his assertions on largely scanty evidence. He looks mockery in the eye and laughs, whether he's pointing out John Lennon's ghost in a blurry snapshot, telling Michael Jackson that he has "important evidence about UFOs that [he] would be happy to share," or predicting that the surviving Beatles and Rolling Stones will "join musical forces and help roll out the red carpet" when UFOs land. These are just a few examples in Luckman's litany of encounters (see also Cat Stevens, George Clinton, and Marilyn Manson). By the end, readers will feel disoriented and confused-much like an alien abductee. This is the first book of its kind, but it will fit comfortably with quick-and-dirty reads like Howard Johns's Palm Springs Confidential and James Robert Parish's The Hollywood Book of Death.
