About the Author

Professor A.K.M Nazir Ahmad was born in Boalia village of Borura Upazilla under Comilla district in 1939. He obtained B.A (Hons) in English literature from Dhaka University in 1962 and M.A in 1963. He got involved with the Islamic movement in 1960. He was the Nayeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami since 2009. He was also a director of the Bangladesh Islamic Center. He wrote about 35 books on Islamic literature. Professor Nazir Ahmad visited many countries including USA, UK, Turkey, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India. In his professional life, he worked as the professor of English Department in Comilla Victoria College and Comilla College.
