About the Author

Deborah D Ferguson
Deborah is a Kentucky girl at heart even though she now resides north of Seattle, Washington, with her best friend and husband of thirty-five years. As a young girl, Deborah experienced many of the same losses and challenges that her characters face. She hopes that as she shares these experiences, young adults can learn that they are not alone and that the bumpy road of life, while sometimes unkind and hard, can be sweet and fruitful too.

Deborah joined Toastmasters International in 2010, hoping she would learn how to become a more confident sales representative. Much to her surprise, the journey with Toastmasters has taught her to be a leader, but more importantly, it has helped her find the courage to follow her dream—writing young adult fiction. She looks forward to sharing this adventure with all her friends and readers.
