About the Author

Mark Louis Latour writes about current political, social, and environmental issues. Over a period of two decades, Mr. Latour has worked as a Town Planner in California and Massachusetts, a City Administrator in North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Maryland; and a County Administrator in Colorado.
Mr. Latour was Chairman of the Business Management Department at Southern Vermont College in Bennington, where he also taught courses in American Government. He holds a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Mr. Latour is currently writing a book on the politics of environmental preservation.
