Dear Reader,
My name is Edwin Womack and I am the author of the documentary “THE BIG EVIL”, an amazing insight into the streets of Los Angeles and how unjust the system could be. Inspired by the living a life in the ghetto full of crime, drugs, gangbanging and poverty, I figured out a way to survive overwhelming odds and do something positive with my life.
After spending 11 years in prison, I have been home 13 years. I worked for Long Beach Transit where I retired at an early age due to being disabled on the job. Since being off work I started reading over material I had from prison and wrote my first book “Torn Between Love” which was released in 2019, I have now released my second book “THE BIG EVIL” January 2020 and I am currently working on my third book which will be released by the summer of 2020.
I have also started and have been running a non-profit organization geared to promote Cancer Awareness through education and helpful resources and I also have a website to promote GANGTOLOGY which is a gang prevention and awareness program.
