Overview

Sibyl Helena Meredith 'Merch Goch' is a woman shrouded in mystery, daughter of a family tied to the mountains of Wales by their birth right, and possessed of powers she can only dream of she is dragged through the mists of time into a world of war, entangled in a world of witchcraft and murder.

Gwyn ap Meredith is an archer and a leader of men, his destiny sealed by a stray arrow at the battle of Crecy, he will wander through time at the mercy of a powerful witch, commanded to do her bidding and help her to fulfil an ancient prophecy.
He and Merch Goch walk the same paths through the mist of time, assisted by the wider family from the Faerie kingdom she discovers on her travels, there is love, romance, war and heartbreak on this spell binding adventure from the wild hills of mid Wales to the leafy forests of France and back.

Praise from established writer of Crime Thrillers Arthur Cole
This novel is gripping in its entirety and will transport you on a journey from the bloody Battle of Crecy, and subsequently through the centuries. It is a real page turner, absorbing in the extreme, weaving its way through, murder, mystery, time travel, romance, witchcraft, myth, and legend throughout mid Wales.
The novel itself is beautifully written and is a true work of originality. I have no doubt it will keep readers deeply engrossed.

About the Author

Welsh writer living and writing in Wales, picked up my pen on retirement, which coincided with the COVID pandemic. I started writing poems which I published to raise money for Riding for the Disabled. Spurred on by readers, and riders I wrote my first short book. Ginger Like Biscuits. I then progressed to writing a book inspired by the life history of my Great Grandmother and wrapped up in the Welsh Town where I was born Llantrisant.
My work is inspired by history, family and my work and life experiences, I have a great love of history. I love to tell a story.
