Overview

After 40 years of ministry, Pastor Kenton Wendorf slowly began losing his voice.
Several members of his congregation, St. Paul Lutheran, Grafton, WI, encouraged
him to write since he could not speak. He began writing a devotional for the St. Paul
weekly electronic newsletter and printed bulletin. The goal was to have a thought
from God's word told in a way that would grab your attention even if you use
your cell phone. The challenge was to keep them concise, Scriptural, and inspirational to the reader.

Pastor Wendorf served Zion Lutheran Church, Painesville, Ohio for 22 years
and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, WI until his retirement. He is married
to Janice Wendorf. They have three children and 12 grandchildren.
They currently live in Neenah, Wisconsin.
