About the Author

Rhona Martin de Souza was born in Antigua West Indies, the fifth child of James and Claudette Martin. The earliest thing I ever wrote was a poem. I was about 7 and it was based on A Grocery Shop across the street where I grew up. I wish I remember all the words to that poem.  

I remember reading Shakespeare at age 5 or 6 years old. That was the types of books available to me. What ever my older siblings was reading, that’s what I would also read.
