When some campers find one chunk and one of them decides to break off a chunk to sell in the Internet, he never makes it. Something about the meteor starts killing people. Anne springs into action and soon finds a startling fact: a similar meteor fell on eastern Africa and soon after the area around it went from fertile valley to dead desert. Now, she has to find a way to control the possible chaos.
The Incendiary Insect Infestation--People in a small town have died. The reason? Nobody knows except their bodies are covered with small burns. Thousands of them. When it is found to be from insects that hit people and explode Anne needs to track this back to its source.
