Overview

The third--and potentially the final--trip of Anne Swift stories. Actually, two are stories of her most recent cases and one, the one appearing in between them, is an in depth interview that took place between the author and Anne over a three day period.

In this volume, you will find:

The Alien Anticoagulant Anomaly--When people and goats up in a small Canadian border town turn up dead, and with practically every drop of blood drained from their corpses, local are in a panic. Anne is called in to investigate and immediately runs into a problem; a local woman, quite possible a bit off her rocker, has been taking the dead and cleaning them up, even burning their clothing. There go a lot of clues and evidence. When space aliens are implicated, she must try to find a more terrestrial reason for these deaths.

An Interview With a MoBiDet–After her retirement (her first?) Anne sat down with the author for an interview to go over what she loved about the ob, what she hated, and her interactions with the people with whom she worked.

The Pernicious Parasitic Pandemic--The FBI has a request. Even though Anne has retired, they would like to have her on call, and the first call is to send her out to California to teach at their training lab. But, when she get there she is faced with the offspring of a politician, a spoiled rich kid and a mystery revolving around parasite infestations inside some of her student's bodies.
