Welcome to the perfect civilization, where a smart device is implanted into the side of your head at birth. With an application for anything you need, from sports performance and bedroom pleasures to video games and master cooking recipes, the world is at the peek of civilization. The worlds leading implantation company owner, Arthur Maxwell, becomes the unofficial ruler of the world. Able to control the population by manipulating their implant systems, Maxwell controls the population like living zombies. Drunk on power, he rules the world as God through the ages, destroying it and rebuilding as the population becomes to big for his control. Until his lead employee and salesman, David Turner, an ex-astronaut turned application sales representative for Maxwell Corporation, is quickly thrust into a world behind the world he has come to be so secure in.
David has an unexpected encounter that causes his implant system to be ripped from his skull by an explosion. He quickly comes to realize without his implant system he is invisible in Arthur Maxwell’s implanted world. Joined by a group of none implanted castaways, David fights to take down Arthur Maxwell, and release the population from Maxwell’s control before he destroys world. With Mr. Maxwell’s mechanical assassins trying to track down and kill David and his new friends, they must move carefully and watch their backs at all times. With little knowledge of how to destroy Maxwell’s implant system, and Maxwell’s assassins closing in on David and his friends, their hope seems to be lost.
David and his new friends consult with the true God, Shanti, an old Indian man with a supposed nirvana application addiction. Armed with Shanti’s knowledge and a set battle plan, including maps of the main Maxwell Corporation buildings, David and the others must destroy the buildings and Mr. Maxwell before his assassins kill them. Running out of time to spare, can David and his new family of non-implanted humans destroy the Maxwell Corporation and Mr. Maxwell before he destroys the world?
