About the Author

Born in 1975 - Athens, Greece.

Studied painting and printmaking in the Athens School of Fine Arts with professors Rena Papaspirou and Michalis Arfaras respectively. Also holds a postgraduate degree from the Digital Art Forms program of the Athens School of Fine Arts.
He is the cover artist of the Athens Review of Books and freelance illustrator at De Groene Amsterdammer. In Spring 2015 he was an artist-in-residence at the Amsterdams Grafisch Atelier.
In 2003 he received a commission by the Benaki Museum for a portrait of the benefactor Andonis Benakis. In 2004 the work has become part of the Benaki Museum permanent collections.
His works are in various public and private collections both in Greece and abroad.
In 2014 along with Artemis Lydi he co-founded White island Works, a creative company that produces drawings, illustrations, prints, comics, animations and limited-edition books among other things.
His latest solo exhibition "The Great Golden Room" took place in early 2015 at the Bath of the Winds of the Museum of Greek Folk Art in Athens, Greece.

Lives and works between Athens and Folegandros island, Greece.
