If Aran patterns intrigue you, it won’t take long for you to find ways to alter basic knitting patterns to accommodate your favorite Aran stitches.

This particular Cable and Moss Stitch Button Down Vest pattern, worked as one piece on circular needles until divided for the armholes, is designed to be form fitting. Made in a size small it does a great deal to enhance the figure.

This multi-page knitting pattern, complete with photographs, provides detailed instructions to create a form-fitting button down vest. The pattern is designed as a small size for women who wear size 6-7 tops. The moss and cable stitches are combined for a traditional Aran design look.
