The apocalypse was never supposed to be real.
Aisling Grace was just a normal college student, living in an apartment with her roommate Shaun. They were ordinary enough; decent grades, didn't party too hard, loved to sit at home and chill out.
Then the dead came to life and started to eat people.
Their trek towards a supposed settlement takes them through treacherous terrain, and on their journey, they come across horrible things they never thought they would have to face. Worse than that, however... Shaun finds that something inside of him is far more dangerous than anything they could face in the real world.
Their path is one of love and heartbreak, but they don't intend to change their course. Will the two of them get their happily ever after? Or will the apocalypse break them like it has so many others?
