Overview

One thing I have learned from my daughter's encounters and the questions that follow. The more she knows, the more empowered she feels and the more confidence she gains. My goal as a parent is to keep the lines of communication flowing and to make sure she has the tools required to navigate this terrain called "Life". Over the years, I have learned "Give Power and Someone will walk away being Empowered." So that's the reason for this book. My hopes is that it will possibly scratch the surface and foster open dialogue with kids because they have so many questions in their hearts. Through dreams, God has given me this message which is the result of "Ask Sallie Mylie Wylie"?

About the Author

A bit about me, I’m a Wife of fifteen plus years, a Mom of a five year old little girl who will be starting elementary school in August and my career background is in Corrections and Juvenile Justice. My five year old is constantly asking questions about almost every encounter. I try to the best of my ability to adequately answer any and all questions, in some cases it calls for me to do some research in how to explain a particular subject matter to a five year old in terms that she will understand, other cases I consult my parents, friends, colleagues or my daughter’s Pediatrician. One thing I have learned from my daughter’s encounters and the questions that follow. The more she knows, the more empowered she feels and the more confidence she gains. My goal as a parent is to keep the lines of communication flowing and to make sure she has the tools required to navigate this terrain called “Life”.
