About the Author

SARAH TOULMIN is an experienced teacher, and publicist for Lion. She is now the mother of two pre-school children - a boy (with whom she has tested the stories) and a girl. KRISTINA STEPHENSON has worked for several publishers including Zondervan, Kingfisher and Egmont. For Lion she has illustrated On The Day You Were Born.

Kristina Stephenson trained as a set and costume designer and for many years she worked in theatre and television while dreaming of having children and illustrating books for them. Both dreams came true and Kristinanow lives and works in Salisbury with her musician husband and two children who provide all the humour and inspiration anyone could want.
