Kate Lockwood is an award-winning writer, developer, and editor of all kinds of children’s books. Originally from Boston, where she earned a degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College, Kaitlyn oversees the editorial team at Silver Dolphin Books in San Diego. If she’s not writing, you’ll find her at the beach with her husband, two kids, rescue dog, and a slew of surfboards.

Srimalie Bassani was born in 1986. She lives and works in Mantova, Italy. Srimalie attended the art school and the academy of fine arts, and later was selected for a master's degree in Illustration Editorial "ARS in FABULA" in Macerata. She likes to diversify her style based on the story she is illustrating. Some of her drawings were selected from the monthly magazine LOGOS in 2012. That same year she published with Bacchilega Editore "La storia più bella."
