Mike has a can do, no nonsense, full speed ahead attitude. He has been referred to in many different ways including: The Amish Electrician, Miller Engineering, and Miller Architecture. "Not bad for a guy with an 8th grade education," he always jokes.
Mike has always been able to do what others say can’t be done. “Well it’s just common sense,” he’ll say.
He loves the freedom, variety of work, and the challenge of being a carpenter. Every job is different and every day has its own challenges and problems to solve.
The crew knows how to make work fun. They are always upbeat, quick with a joke, and never afraid to pick on each other. The sounds of singing, auctioneer calling, and genuine laughter is commonplace on their job sites.
Mike is first and foremost a family man. He enjoys a full table at meal times. He loves to read and tell stories to children. The storytelling began with his own kids. Now, the grandkids make their way to grandpa after meals. One of his most requested and favorite stories is Squish & Squash.
