About the Author

Phillip W. Dyer is a writer who grew up in DeWitt County, Illinois, a county known to have some of the richest farming soil in the United States of America. He spent his youth and summers between two worlds, his grandfather's Tennessee farm and working the seed corn farms of Central Illinois detasseling corn and walking beans.
