Following that, they came across Oliver, an old owl with friendly eyes and a calm voice. Oliver taught Barbie how important it is to keep going even when things get hard. He stressed that tolerance and understanding had helped the people who lived in the forest get along and avoid many fights.
They kept going until they reached a bubbling creek with a school of fish swimming in beautiful patterns. The fish taught Barbie that understanding can come in many forms, such as silence. Hazel said that looking and observing can be just as important as listening.
While the sun was setting, Barbie met Bruno the bear. The golden light from the sun was shining through the trees.
