Born in the year of "The Shot Heard Round The World" at a time when Major League Baseball did not extend west of the Mississippi and grew up in the greater Oakland Bay Area. The passion of the game grew from 2000 miles away until first the Giants and then the Athletics moved to the Bay Area. A Viet Nam Era Air Force Veteran whose passion for the game knows no bounds.
