Dig back into the archives of The Beadery and (re)discover some of our classic hemp jewelry designs.

This book features fully illustrated, step-by-step instructions for making twenty projects. You will be able to make four different hemp necklaces and their coordinating bracelets, anklets, rings and key-chains from the creative department at The Beadery Craft Products. All of the designs are made from craft beads and supplies that are readily available in the craft department of your favorite craft supply store.

The designs in this collection include some of the first "Makes 5" hemp jewelry designs that we ever released as kits. You will learn the basic knots needed to work on almost any hemp project in the future. If you are new to knotting cord, this book is a great place to learn the basics and if you haven't knotted in a while, it is a great refresher before moving onto more advanced designs.

About the Author

Under the name Greene Plastics & Buick, llc, we have been manufacturing plastic beads in RI since 1932. In 1971, we started offering many innovative craft products under the registered trade name The Beadery®. Over the years, our design department has created many projects that are no longer available. Some of these have been archived for years, but now with electronic publishing we are happy to bring some of them back. We have an extensive line of easy to follow, fully illustrated instructions for making holiday ornaments, banners, jewelry and more that we can't wait to re-release.

The Beadery® is located in the historic village of Canonchet, in a lovely rural part of southern Rhode Island. The plant is largely built around a granite mill dating to 1870 and is listed as an historic site. Over the years, our company has grown and expanded into additional office and manufacturing space, including the addition of a warehousing and packaging facility constructed in 1990. Most of our products are made right here in Hope Valley. Engineering, parts and mold design, product design and graphic design, are all handled in-house, which gives us capabilities and flexibility not often available from a bead supplier.
