It’s so charming when a bear says thank you. In this übersimple introduction to manners, Little Bear—who is of the polar variety—asks his mama for all kinds of art supplies (including glitter), and he thanks her after she hands him each item in turn. He ultimately puts these items to use in creating a special card for Mama Bear. This oversize board book is cheerful and bright and features an adorable, toddler-like bear. Each “Thank you!” appears in large type on its own page, thereby reinforcing the lesson in politeness.
