About the Author

Bobbee Denise is a Chicago native and founder of Hey Benji, a nonprofit organization that serves children and families in underserved neighborhoods located on the southside of Chicago. He love for giving back to the community grew as she observed and aided her grandparents Mother Jimmie Will Butler and Bishop Stephen K. Butler in serving families in the West Englewood Community. It is her mission to continue serving the Englewood community and other underserved neighborhoods by providing summer programming to children that will serve as a safe positive space to participate in ongoing activities and provide them with healthy nutritious meals.
