Overview

Bergmann's Equestrian Venture is the 4th novel in the 9-book series.  Earth was spared the brunt of a comet-induced planet-wide winter by the Concordat-led redirection of 3 massive comets.  The Human Team has now been challenged to move 30 horses from Earth to Baldon.

This first interstellar trip for Humans is prelude to help Banderat build an equestrian resort near Bandalu in the Northern Highlands of Baldon.

Nita's surprise is the birth of their child Kimberalyn Bergmann: the first human born off Earth.

A family of Sayen reveals their presence to Guy, Nita, Greg and Raquel.  The presence of this hidden seventh race is a shock to the Concordat.

About the Author

George Pinneo, an army brat, lived in 4 states and 8 different locations during WWII. He grew up in NW Ohio, graduating from Case Institute of Technology with a B.S. Ch.E in 1959. His technical career spans 5 decades of experience: wafer-fab microelectronics and hybrid packaging. He was the 4th founder in a sucessful article surveillance start-up.  

Family vacations have taken the Pinneos to 7 Candian provinces, 49 states and 11 Mexican estados.  They have toured the cities of the Hanse in the Baltic and much of Andalucia in Spain.  

He earned a private pilot's license and built an all-metal airplane which is licensed as an experimental homebuilt aircraft.  He has spent 23 years refining the airplane.  Other hobbies include woodturning, sailing, canoeing, hiking and jewelry making.

For him, good SF is realistic, non-fantasy.  It should teach new concepts, especially in alien contact and intercommunication.  It can be romantic and uplifting!
