About the Author

Antonella was born in Cordoba, Argentina, in 1992. She has been a graphic designer since 2014 and is a self-taught illustrator. She enjoys thinking and drawing as children would and illustrating for them. She loves candy, anything that’s fluffy colorful, teddies, strawberries, cupcakes, pink donuts, and especially bunnies.
Mandy R. Marx is a writer and editor. She lives in a chilly town in Minnesota with her husband, daughter, and a white, silky haired pup. She has a curious mind and stays on the lookout for yetis. When the Yeti family moves from the snowy mountains to a city apartment, Betty is nervous to meet humans. Her fear escalates when a knock at their door reveals two of their new neighbors, a man and a little girl, who give the Yetis a big dish of something called spaghetti. Betty bravely tries some, hoping it will taste like snowball surprise, only to find it most definitely does not. Betty runs to her room with a cry of “I HATE spaghetti!” but is followed by the girl, Cecilia, who gently turns their disastrous first encounter into a new friendship. Young readers will be charmed by the idea of a yeti family moving into a human neighborhood and identify with many of Betty’s feelings in the face of so much change.
