His life has been a series of experimentation, documentation and reflection regarding the subjects.
Alcohol and drug dependency in America is colossal (250-350 billion per year in costs). The success rate for many facilities is in several cases only 20% which means only 2 people out of 10 are succeeding. Lawyers, Judges and Prisons are profiting. We are not being well served by our elected officials in combating this problem.
