Overview

The Battle For Corinth is book one in the Just Maybe Bible Adventure Stories for young readers. Although this is the first book in the Just Maybe series, it is a complete story that can be enjoyed by anyone who loves a swashbuckling spiritual adventure.

Crispus, the Chief Ruler of the Synagogue of Corinth, is under attack by an unseen enemy who will stop at nothing–even murder–to keep him, his family, and members of his synagogue from hearing a message about the Messiah from a strange visitor named Paul. The adventure begins when Crispus and his twelve year old son Jacob meet an old friend, the massive sea captain, Joseph. The three are almost crushed to death in an apparent accident but are miraculously saved by an angel. Watching in the shadows is the rich and ruthless Sosthenes, a man whose secret past and fabulous wealth team together to make him the perfect tool for Satan. Time after time the enemy attacks the infant church and the angel defenders are put to the test in the age-old battle that is still being fought today. The incredible adventure is taken directly from the pages of Scripture. Many Bible characters that were once just names read in passing come to life in an explosion of love and passion for God. The Battle for Corinth is an action adventure that is laced with romance, humor, and spiritual warfare. Enjoy!
