Overview

Bombs have destroyed everything and turned most that have survived into beasts that walk the earth.
Eloise (one of the half-turned) struggles to hold on in this barren world. With seven days of wakefulness between each of her three-day death-like sleeps, she must find food and weapons, and keep her distance from the creatures around—most of which seek only blood. Though more rarely in this wasteland one stumbles across another in need of something more: compassion possibly, or even friendship. These are natural desires, human desires, yet they're things Eloise isn't quite sure she can give.
This story is over eight thousand words and contain eleven black-and-white rendered illustrations. It is suggested for mature readers.
