Blood Rising lured me in immediately with its lovable cast of characters and well-developed storyline. Cat Temple and Matt Brenner's chemistry is unstoppable. Their mutual love and respect for one another is simply priceless. The authors have really created a unique and refreshing take on vampire lore. I've never read a story that so brilliantly combines pure romance with heart-pumping erotica. This novel left me breathless and wanting more. I'm really looking forward to their next book, Blood Emerald. I highly recommend reading Blood Rising! - AMD
What a talented writer! Pacing, description and emotions are thoroughly explored. The underworld of vampires and their lifestyle is exposed as in no vampire book I have seen before, and I've seen most. There is mystery entwined with the plot. Whodunit? and why? are big questions. Will the semi-immortal Matt and his love survive manipulative vampires and will the couple's love come out intact? I must keep reading to find out. - PS
This book is a wonderful addition to the vampire folklore genre and sensual romance. I could not put it down once I started reading. I am a huge fan of vampire genre and Amber Anthony does not disappoint. The characters are very real and the story of the shadowy underground of human/vampire sex and the longing for true love catches you from the moment you start. I have loved vampire romances for a long time. This does not disappoint. The characters are all well-developed and the plot is intriguing- it kept me wanting to read more. I loved Catherine and Matt, and Richard was delightfully bad, too. I look very forward to the next book in this series! -JS
What a great read. A vampire romance with BDSM elements that is very well written, Great world building and complex characters add to an interesting story. Matt and Cat's attraction is deep and powerful. Their chemistry is very hot and the love between them sweet, touching and spicy. A plot that offers plenty of drama, suspense, danger .and passion. I love the pace of this book the author has a great writing style and I was really engaged form the beginning. I love vampire romance and the underworld they live in is so well described and written. I love that there is mystery involved and it keeps you guessing as who dunnit. Will the love between these two survive? -N

OMG, Matt is my vampire heartthrob. Tall, dark and ripped. Inside and out. He’s imposed all sorts of rules on himself... but when he decides to take drawing classes he walks in on more than he expects. If I could be Cat Temple, I’d be in her lingerie in a heartbeat. Of course, love isn’t a beach or a party and as funny as Rick Hiatt is, the bad guys are freakishly brutal. In the end, I forgot I was holding my breath. -LR
