Body Parts
A thriving black market exists for human body parts. In a warehouse outside artsy Tubac, Arizona, corrupt surgeons slaughter illegal Mexican immigrants. Las Vegas mobsters, who smuggle them in, sell their parts to well-heeled patients, vying for hearts, kidneys and more in Mexican surgeries. Syndicated columnist, Carrie Linden, is 35 and gorgeous. She also has a drinking problem and a compulsion for risk-taking. Upon discovering a horrific body harvesting operation, Carrie and lover, wealthy attorney Michal Taylor inform the local Sheriff who refuses to investigate. Carrie embarks on a death-defying race to end these atrocities. She's blinded by her quest to bring justice to evildoers who exploit the weak. Despite Michael's insistence she quit, Carrie puts herself and others in harms way. Time is short; the next operation is scheduled. Body Parts is the second installment of a bone-chilling trilogy. It paints a gruesome portrait of this black market and the psyche of those who run it.
