About the Author

Terry Friedman began her writing career freelancing for a small newspaper outside Philadelphia. While raising her daughters, Jessica and Shelley in West Chester, PA, she taught English for decades and traveled abroad with students. Terry earned an M.F.A. from Wilkes University and also graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy. Thirteen of her fiction and non-fiction pieces have been published, and she co-edited Delaware Valley Mystery Writers' short stories anthology, Death Knell V. She is a Pennwriters Board member and a member of Sisters in Crime. Currently, Terry writes paranormal thrillers from coastal South Carolina.

This supernatural thriller provides an enjoyable wrinkle in narration. The audiobook doesn't feature a single narrator voicing all characters or a full cast with an individual narrator voicing each character. The members of the ensemble each take a major character and whomever that character interacts with. Rachel Fulginiti shines as Andi Wyndham, who buys a bone pendant that speaks to her--literally. This makes Andi a target of Fisherman, a serial killer portrayed with psycho verve by Danny Campbell. One of Fisherman's victims was the unfortunate Mariah, a teen runaway portrayed by Jesse Vilinsky. Because Mariah's soul is still processing her violent demise, she cannot cross to the other side.
