Finishing

For the MANE, cut 26 pieces of black yarn into 4" strands. Using a yarn needle, pull each strand from back to front (toward the snout) through one of the 26 loops on the HEAD (left from when you worked through the back loop). Pull the strand so its two ends are even and tie it in a knot.

For the TAIL, cut at least 10 strands of black yarn to the same length and pull through a loop between the two back LEGS. Use an extra strand of black yarn to tie these strands into a bundle at the base of the BODY. Tie tightly to fasten.

Sew the EYES to the HEAD beneath the MANE, 1 st apart from each other. Weave in all ends.
