Tell me a Story, Uncle Steve is a series of ilustrated short stories that were originally planned as a modernization of Aesop's Fables. In doing the writing, it was decided that while the stories should teach a moral or life lesson, the level of reader would be much younger. Uncle Steve tells fantasy stories about things that children like to learn about. He tries to present them with situations that make them think about themselves and the world around them.
In the first story of the series we meet Bootsy the Cat. He is a lazy house cat that has been frustrating Steve's Uncle by lying in Uncle's favorite sitting chair whenever he gets the opportunity. One cold winter day, Uncle decides that he was going to make sure that Bootsy doesn't do it again. That's when the fun begins.
