About the Author

Shannelle Sykes was born and raised and Los Angeles, Ca and now resides in Houston, Tx, with her husband and son. She has always had passion for writing poetry and short stories. Being a parent of a child who was born during the pandemic gave her the drive to write this book, and to help children understand healthy ways to care for themselves. Shannelle used her son and grandmother, who passed from Covid-19 as motivation for her first book so that it will reach those whose families have been affected by the virus.
