About the Author

Kristina Horner is an internet personality and one of the co-founders of 84th Street Press. When she’s not playing with her one-year-old son or pretending she knows how to garden, you can probably find her winning yet another round of NaNoWriMo, for which she is also a Seattle regional volunteer. She writes mostly young adult or middle grade fiction with magical elements. Follow her on Instagram and Twitter @KristinaHorner or at kristinahorner.com.

Stephen Folkins is a Seattle based humor writer. He has written for the sketch comedy group The Pilot Episode and bets he could again. He enjoys genre fiction and small, fluffy dogs.

Jennifer Lee Swagert writes fantasy and sci-fi. She began writing using the library computer after school and still has those stories on an old USB drive somewhere. She’s also a co-founder of 84th Street Press and municipal liaison for the Seattle NaNoWriMo region. Follow her on Twitter @jenniferswagert.

Katrina Hamilton loves finding the interesting within the mundane and turning the ordinary parts of life into engaging and emotional journeys. With experience in playwriting, poetry, short stories, and novels, Katrina chases her ideas into whatever form and genre fit them best.

Shay Lynam is a writer and owner of a fandom-inspired candle business. With six NaNoWriMo attempts and five wins under her belt, she tends to write mostly young adult thriller and romance. Living near Seattle with her husband, two kids, and about 36 houseplants, Shay is a lover of rain and misty forests. Follow her on Instagram @shaylynam.

Sunny Everson is a novelist of queer science fiction and fantasy and the parent of slightly too many animals. They are an avid participant and volunteer with NaNoWriMo. Sunny lives with their husband in the Inland Northwest. Follow them on Twitter at @s__everson.

Maria Berejan is a co-founder of 84th Street Press and Seattle NaNoWriMo region municipal liaison. She mostly writes fantasy and mystery with a good serving of death. She is often found lost in daydreams, engrossed in a new hobby, or puttering about her variety of plants with cats in tow. Follow her on Twitter @mariaberejan or at mariaberejan.com.
