Overview

Living in a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde relationship can be very confusing, until we learn about Borderline Personality Disorder. Lynn Melville wrote 'Breaking Free from Boomerang Love' as she crawled out of her own pain with a Borderline partner.

'Boomerang Love' describes the on-again, off-again behavior some of us have engaed in with our love relationships We leave the painful relationship . . . then go back to it . . . then leave it . . . over and over and over.

Through the daily readings and affirmations in 'Boomerang Love', you'll be led into an inspirational, experiential journey as seen through the eyes of a partner to someone suffering with Borderline Personality Disorder. 'Boomreang Love' progresses from the silent withdrawals to the exploding rages of the Borderline -- from the fearful walking-on-eggshells behavior of the partner to ultimate healing and empowerment.

'Boomerang Love' describes how the partner of the Borderline repeatedly leaves the relationship, only to return to it again and again, desperately trying to fix an illness of which they don't even know the name -- and which only the Borderline can fix, with professional mental health help.

In reading 'Boomerang Love', you'll:

* Re-feel and finish grieving your own pain
* Laugh and then watch your denial disappear
* Achieve a new strength to stand up for yourself
* Re-connect and reach for guidance from the God of your understanding

The object of 'Boomerang Love' is to help you reconnect with yourself -- who you are and what you're feeling in the relationship you're in. Our feelings are what lead us to the actions we need to take.

Our heads have known all along what we needed to do . . . .

About the Author

Lynn Melville's personal mission is to raise awareness of Borderline Personalty Disorder and 'Boomerang Love' -- a love that draws us back into abusive relationships over and over.

In the Red Flags section of Lynn's web site -- www.boomeranglove.com -- she presents a list of over 80 behaviors that indicate the possible presence of the Borderline disorder.

Lynn believes that repeatedly leaving and then returning to a painful relationship with another person is a sign that something is seriously wrong -- we just haven't known what that 'something' is.

Lynn states that our culture is basically 'color blind' to the behaviors and symptoms of narcissistic Borderline Personality Disorder. Few know that there is an actual name and mental health diagnosis for the hurtful behavior that Borderlines inflict on their partnrs in relationships.

With the awareness that Lynn's books generate about Borderline Personality Disorder, she hopes that victims and families will seek professional mental health assistance sooner, both for themselves and the Borderline they love.

Lynn has srved as executive director of the Mental Health Association in her home town. Working with an all-volunteer board and community volunteers, she worked to educate people about mental health issues. She currently resides in the Central Coast region of Califorhia.
