About the Author

My Name is Katie Haynes, I have a passion for writing and opening the eyes of others on the darkness this world holds. My past is what inspires everything I write. My stories are based on memories that will always be with me. This is also the hardest part about writing my books, in every story there is a memory from my past, so dark I do not want to relive. This darkness, I know, does not just follow me. There are so many people living in this world with fear and distrust because of things that either are happening, or have happened to them in the past. This is what keeps me writing, knowing that there is millions of children going through what I went through, people turning their heads to the real situation that is looking them dead in the eyes.
