Broken Promises
The author takes us on a different journey of the Israeli Palestinian conflict, focusing on each society's responses to the political and military events. It provides a very different perspective that gives the reader a better understanding of the obstacles to overcome in the search for the resolution of this conflict, one of the most intractable of the last 100 years.

The author manages to make the book relevant for readers with little knowledge of the conflict itself, as well as for those with a deeper knowledge and understanding of the issues. A must read for those who wish to understand the conflict in its sociological context.

About the Author

About the Author: Daniel Chejfec was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and arrived in the United States in 1989. He holds degrees in Education (JFK Argentinean University); Sociology of Education (FLACSo); a master’s in Social Work (University of Southern California); and Non-Profit Management (Hebrew Union College). He credits his ability to go back and forth between conflicting narratives to his experiences growing up under a military dictatorship and serving a diverse group of voluntary non-profit organizations in two different countries for a number of years.
