AUTHOR: Sofan Chan LIVES: Sydney, Australia www.theartofhappiness.net Sofan was born and spent her formative years in Hong Kong. Her love of art took her to study advanced western painting techniques at the School of Art Institute of Chicago in the USA before she finally settled in Australia. Sofan's paintings have an easily recognisable, unique style filled with vibrant, happy colours and flowing lines. They are her inner expressions of her Buddha nature and inspirations. Her original oil paintings and limited edition prints are now proudly displayed in a wide variety of collections around the world. Her love of painting, and particularly painting peaceful Buddha images, has led her to adventuring into Buddhism far and wide. She is currently studying her Master of Arts in Applied Buddhism in the Nan Tien Institute.
