About the Author

A descendant of the British Empire, Carlos Chambers, is the youngest of four children. After World War II, Carlos Chambers' parents travelled from Asia to East Africa. They remained in East Africa until the last remnants of the British Empire were dismantled following decolonisation and independence.

In the 1960’s Carlos’ parents settled in the United Kingdom. Carlos developed a passion for travel from an early age. In his early twenties, living in Spain and travelling across the continents of Asia, Australasia, and South America.

Carlos’ passion and love of travel, history and literature are all interwoven into his writing. Carlos’ passions include reading, writing, fitness and the occasional glass of Malbec.
