Overview

"The revolution is a train, it is speeding down the tracks destined to collide with the wall at the end of them. The question is not whether the train will collide with the wall, the question is how many people are on the train, will it break through when it collides, and how many passengers will survive? The question is whether the white revolutionary will step onto the train and add to the mass, or whether they will sit on the sidelines and hope to avoid the shrapnel and debris when it collides?"

Burning Bridges: Disconnecting From White Culture and Fighting for Liberation analyzes and outlines the role of the white revolutionary in the proletariat revolution. With brutal honesty, Burning Bridges meticulously defines and exposes the white culture and how it upholds white supremacy in the United States, the various ways the white revolutionary has benefitted from the white culture, and the necessity of breaking away from it in order to assist in the coming socialist uprising.

Cultural assimilation, operational security, methods for planning actions, the benefits and drawbacks of using violence against the system, these are all explored and laid out in an unapologetic and comprehensible manner. The hypocritical nature of white saviorhood is exposed, how the white revolutionary should cooperate with non-white comrades is defined, and the harsh truths those wishing to join the revolution must hear are laid out plainly.

The revolution is coming, this is without question. Only one question remains for the white citizens of the United States to answer.

About the Author

My name is Curtis Fields. I am a 23 year old activist from Northern Indiana. My journey started with my friends introducing me to the ideas of the left a few years ago, beginning with Anarcho-Syndicalism. Since then, I have devoted myself to fighting against the racist, classist, oppressive capitalist system we find ourselves living under. I am active in multiple organizations, and participate in small mutual aid projects such as community farming outside of these organizations in my free time.

My name is Brooke Harter. I am a 21 year old activist from Northern Indiana and have spent the past three years of my life enrolled at Indiana University and educating myself on the rampant racism and classicism in our society so that I can better understand and fight it. Even before I came to university, I began my journey independently as I was interested in economic and political systems and felt myself drawn to Anarcho-Communism. I am active in mutual aid and work to donate my time and resources to those in my community whether that be food or materials, I work to help those in need.
