After adopting the pen name of Rurik Redwolf years ago, I started writing in early 2007. Ever since, I have practiced daily to hone my craft. After eleven years, I felt confident enough to publish my first book. I am always learning, and would hardly consider myself the best. The world of Fatea had me interested right from the start. Burning Stars: Afterdark sports four unique sentient species, all with their own societies and cultures. The premise is also convincing and intriguing, especially living in today's world where artificial viruses are on the horizon. The story blends the use of magic and technology perfectly, each complementing the other.
