About the Author

Charles (Chuck) Sennewald has authored 27 books, many of which are/were used
in university and college courses and practitioners in the security/law enforcement
profession. He’s a graduate of the US Army’s Military Police School, The Los Angeles.
He’s a graduate of the Army’s Military Police School, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Academy and California State University @ Los Angeles
with a BS degree in Police Science and Administration, and taught at his alma
mater for 13 years.
Chuck served as a USAF air policeman (MP)
, Los Angeles Co. Sheriff’s deputy, the
Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office as an investigator and as Chief of
Campus Police at the prestigious 5 colleges in Claremont, Ca., i.e. Pomona College,
Claremont Men’s College, Harvey Mudd College, Scripps College (for women) and
Claremont Graduate School.
That last post makes him uniquely and highly qualified to author a work about
university and college policing. Put another way: he’s been there and done that.
