Overview

Those new to the series will meet the Grangers patriarch, Sheppard, who immediately takes the listener back to when he was wrongfully imprisoned and fell for his true love, Carson, while behind bars. Fans of the series, however, may find that not much of the story is fresh, having been introduced to these events in previous titles. Still, Butler navigates more than a handful of characters within the span of this story, giving each a unique voice so the listener knows who’s speaking without the need for dialogue tags.
