Overview

After having experienced the life-changing medical diagnosis of a brain aneurysm, Katherine and Exploring Paths Publishing, in collaboration with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, are on a mission to improve the experiences of others going through similar trials and those caring for them.

Caregiver Journal Daily Ten-Minute Reflection & Gratitude Guide equips those caring for those facing challenging medical diagnoses with the necessary tools to overcome emotions such as fear, exhaustion, and hopelessness and focus on their own health and well-being so that they can care for their loved ones.

Creating a new habit takes an average of 66 Days, and our workbook provides the framework to do just that. We provide 100 days of worksheets to keep track of your own progress and that of your loved ones, helping you breathe through and enjoy the moments that we have.

By seeking out the good in challenging times, you strengthen your mind, relationships, and care-giving journey. We're here to empower you every step of the way and ensure that you know you have a community around you that cares, understands, and supports you. The best part is that half of all proceeds from the sale of this book go back to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation to aid in their efforts to further research and raise awareness. We are with you.

About the Author

A brain aneurysm survivor, Katherine Elizabeth Long draws on her over 20 years as a tech exec and over 20 years working with youth. She is an author and the founder of the Exploring Paths® program in NYC and the Exploring Paths™ Web and mobile application for explorers, destinations, and subject matter experts alike.
Originally from Del Rio, Texas, she spent summers in Southern Louisiana and New Orleans, has lived and studied throughout the US and Europe, and has traveled the world for work and fun. Her parents instilled gratitude and goal-setting practices in her and her brother at a young age, and it is those practices that set them up for success. She instills those same practices in students today through her program, applications, & workbooks. Katherine holds a BA from Texas Christian University and an MSc from the London School of Economics; serves as Board Chair for the Chinatown YMCA, has held several board positions, and has won multiple awards for her efforts with Exploring Paths, including NY'1's New Yorker of the Week & Friend of Marimekko for Int'l Women's Day. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation (BAF) aspires towards a life without death or disabilities caused by brain aneurysm ruptures. The foundation wants to keep families and communities whole and keep people in the workforce. Brain aneurysms are treatable, which is why identifying an aneurysm before rupture is critical. With research and appropriate scanning, we can all get a step closer to preventing ruptures, disability, and death.
